Through our design we strive for a better future: cleaner, more sustainable and, of course,
Solar panels can be installed at almost any location; while they are usually mounted on a building’s roof they can also be integrated into the fabric of the building to replace traditional roofing, glazing or cladding materials, or on simple ground-mounted structures with limited disruption to the business or home.
Typically the main components are the solar panels themselves, which will usually be located on the roof area, and the inverter which will be located within your house, usually in the attic. The solar system will be connected to your existing main electricity panel (also known as the fuse board). Other optional hardware components are an immersion diverter switch, battery, or energy meter.
They usually cleaned adequately by the rain, and require no general maintenance. In fact, the only projected cost is the eventual replacement of the inverter at some time during the lifetime of the system.
The solar panels have a manufacturer’s warranty of 25/30 years and a working lifetime of 40 years and beyond. A well-designed, installed, and maintained solar panel system will operate very efficiently for a minimum of 25 years.
The photovoltaic effect which the panels use to generate power is a naturally occurring phenomenon, and assuming no damage is incurred we expect our solar panels to endure long beyond their warranty period.
The simplest way to ensure and extend the life and effectiveness of your solar panel system is to purchase quality components from a reputable company who will guarantee that your system is correctly installed and commissioned. Fortunately, you need look no further!
The amount of electricity generated annually will depend on a range of factors including the hardware chosen, size of system, the geographical location and the direction in which the panels are installed. Well-located, quality solar panels will typically generate 40% of the typical annual electricity demand of an Irish home.
The cost of hardware and installation of solar panels in Ireland varies depending on spec. For a system that is built to last, and installed by experts, get a tailored quote from us. We design your system to fit your building, and can also offer financing to make the cost of your system more manageable.
Once your system is installed your building will draw from your solar power by default, only drawing power from the grid if the solar power being generated is insufficient to supply all the power required at one time. This will be dependent on light conditions and your energy consumption.
Adding a battery to your solar power system means any unused energy can be stored, ready to use when needed (usually the following evening/night). Adding a battery can increase the percentage of solar electricity you use in your building, but it will come at an additional cost.

Solar Evolution are suppliers and installers of quality photovoltaic technology, bringing solar power to homes and businesses across Ireland. We are renewable energy experts, committed to creating a more sustainable future one building at a time.
We help commercial and industrial companies produce their own electricity to reduce their reliance on more costly, less-sustainable alternatives. Traditional electricity sources are dwindling in availability and increasing in price. With a cost of living crisis on the horizon, we are helping harness the infinite power of the sun to create truly clean energy.
